What to expect from your first appointment

This may be in person or by telephone depending on the type of appointment. We will listen to your story, to understand the impact your condition is having on your life. We will make a plan together.

What you can do to prepare:

• • Before your appointment, you will be sent a link to access online questionnaires. The information in these is very important so please remember to complete them before attending.
• • Check you know which venue you have been booked for.
• • Please make your own transport arrangements, and arrive on time for your appointment.
• • You are welcome to bring someone with you for support. Alternatively, you can ask for a chaperone on arrival if you would like one.
• • Some appointments may involve a physical examination. Please come dressed in loose fitting clothing.
• • Please note all appointments may include the use of the Heidi AI tool.
